Jefferson Random Photo Album

The original Jefferson network used BNC ethernet cables running across the dorm hallway. This was identified by local authorities as a "fire hazard", and they asked us to tape the wires down with masking tape.

Self explanatory. :-)

Here's a photo from Pete's 1998 pilgrimage to pay homage to Richard Stallman, the patron saint of free software and founder of the GNU project. (Stallman is the true father of Linux, not that meddling guy from Finland.)
